Support Groups

Discovery’s support group mission comes from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4PrintSize-Support

All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. Adoption and Foster Care Support Ministry

Provides a place to gather with other adoption and foster care families, encouraging and supporting each other as you open your hearts and homes to a child in need of a family.

  • A place to experience community and gather valuable resources
  • For those who are thinking about it, in the process of, or currently an adoptive or foster care parent.
  • Meets the last Sunday of every month from 2:30-4:30 at Discovery Christian Church, 2605 W. 144th Ave. Broomfield, CO

Join us this month to connect, share and encourage each other as we walk this unique journey as families of adoption and foster care! Please RSVP to Bonnie Robertson at and let us know that you will be there and in particular if you will be needing childcare. Childcare costs are now covered through volunteers who are willing to provide free childcare!  That is an awesome answer to prayer!

Journey to Hope

Journey to Hope will host its monthly gathering the first Monday of each month at 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Discovery Church.

The mission of Journey to Hope is to provide a monthly gathering place to navigate life through loss and find community while doing so. You are welcome wherever you are on the journey and regardless of the kind of loss you’ve experienced: Unexpected, long-term illness, miscarriage or maybe you’re anticipating the loss of a loved one.

The evening will include a light meal and several opportunities to connect with others who are walking through loss. Opportunities to listen and connect with others, to share resources and challenges of grief.

Childcare available upon request. $5 a child/ $10 max per family.

Please consider joining us for our monthly meetings. Contact for more info.
