Starting Point

It can be difficult finding the right place to ask questions about a specific church. Whether you want to know where their finances go, how to get involved, or how they serve their community. Starting Point is Discovery’s way of offering you a space to ask those questions and find out what our church is passionate about. Come chat with some of our staff and leadership team! We offer Starting point 4 - 6 times per year.

Life Groups

All too often, church involvement can be defined as attending a service, and then heading home. Discovery believes that spiritual formation happens within a small community. We believe that the body of Christ is the most effective when it’s diverse, so our life groups consist of families, singles, empty-nesters and everything in between.

Baptism

Baptism is a public declaration of a commitment to Christ. It is an outward symbol of an inward commitment. Baptism is for somebody who wants to accept, or has accepted, the teachings and call of Jesus. It is one step in a journey of following Christ, not the only step or the last step.

You need not understand everything there is to know about God. You need not “clean up your life” first. You need simply to understand the purpose of your baptism and commit to following Christ.

Serving OPPORTUNITIES

At Discovery, we believe that serving is one of the best ways to grow in faith and make a difference. Whether it’s greeting guests on Sunday mornings, helping with kids and tech, or volunteering with one of our local outreach partners, there’s a place for you to use your time and talents to help build the Kingdom of God.
