Discovery Safety TeaM

The Safety Team is a Discovery ministry comprised of volunteers trained to support a safe and welcoming worship experience, youth programming, identified ministries, planned events, and safety of church staff.

The Safety Team by design, may assist in medical emergencies, natural disasters affecting the church, emergency evacuations, or contacting people who display concerning behaviors or intent of disrupting the worship experience or church operations. Our team members are involved in confidential briefings on a variety of subjects, providing a safe presence for church operations.  On top of the invitation to serve twice a month, regular training and assessments are an integral part of this commitment.

We are looking for people with medical, mental health, and police or military backgrounds as well as anyone with a heart to be a welcoming and caring presence.
