Leadership Coaching
Experience in Local Church
The Discovery residency program develops emerging leaders who want to pursue vocational ministry. Residents can be enrolled in an undergrad, graduate school or somewhere in-between. Ministry Skills, Leadership Development and Soul Care create the core of the program. Goals and coaching plans are individually customized so each student can achieve confidence and be ministry-ready upon completion. The program is a one-year commitment with the possibility of an additional second-year. Compensation is provided along with a host home. Apply online. Our residencies are 1-2 years long. We do not offer summer programs.
Compensation: a small stipend, free room and board living with one of the families in our congregation, and paid vacation.
We are an egalitarian church. Women are invited to participate in any track.
Daily schedules are flexible as most of our residents take online classes, attend one of the local schools, or work another job while completing their residency.
